Ingredients

  • Dairy free yogurt.
  • 1/4 cup Granola/cornflakes/Rice Krispies/muesli/ Cheerios/oats
  • 2 Tbsps raisins/ tin peaches/ pears/raspberries
  • Sliced banana/ strawberries and maple syrup to garnish. A sprinkle of cinnamon to add a subtle sweetness.

Equipment List

  • 2 Visible plastic cup with lids
  • 3 x Tbsp
  • Spatula
  • Sharp knife

In a plastic cup, layer dairy free yogurt, granola /oats/Rice krispies / cornflakes / muesli.

Add 2 tbsps raisins/ tin peaches/ pears/raspberries.

Then add a small amount of maple syrup.

Layer again with dairy free yogurt.

Top with sliced bananas/ strawberries/ tin fruit and granola/ Rice Krispies.

Ingredients

  • 350 g Oats
  • 80 g plain flour
  • 100g raisins or strawberries/pumpkins
  • Seeds- (your choice of fruit or nuts/seeds)
  • 200g dairy free butter
  • 175 Golden syrup

Equipment List

  • 2 x Tbsp
  • 1 x Spatula
  • Electric Scales
  • Wooden spoon
  • Large Mixing Bowl
  • Medium size bowl to measure ingredients.
  • Medium Size Sauce Pan
  • 20cm/8ins square baking tray
  • Grease Proof paper
  • Oven Gloves

Preheat oven to 160c/325F gas Mark 3

Grease a 23cm/9in square cake tin and line with grease proof paper.

Mix together the oats flour (your choice of fruit or seeds/nuts into a large bowl.

Pour the Golden syrup into the oats and mix thoroughly, until saturated. There should be no dryness in the mixture.

Then add a small amount of maple syrup.Tip the mixture into the prepared tin. Spread it out so that it is level. You can press it down firmly by using a spatula. You can also use grease proof paper over the mixture and apply pressure to make sure the mixture begins to bond.

Bake for 25 mins until golden brown. They will begin to firm up as they cool.

Leave to cool for 15 minutes then cut into squares. 

They can be stored in an airtight container for 10 days.
